The "Hood" Party

This weekend we had our annual "cul de sac" Christmas party. Everyone on our block got together to celebrate. Here are a few pictures of the festivities.
Mary Lou brought a panettone and it was delicious!
Cooper with his "worried" face. Not sure what he was worried about. Maybe not getting enough food...
The "Hood" shot...

Sleeping...

Here are a couple of shots of me snoozing lately... Here I am with a nice full belly with my top button undone.

I also like to snuggle close with my bear "Como".

6 months...

I love it when my mama reads me books. My favorite is Five Little Ducklings.
I love my new toy... it keeps me busy with all sorts of fun.
I went to the Dr. this week for my 6 month appointment. I was 19 lbs 9 ounces and 28 inches. I also have 5 teeth.
I've had to start wearing my winter clothes since it's been in the 50's and 60's here.
I'm really looking forward to my 1st Christmas! :) I skipped Thanksgiving this year because I wasn't feeling well.

Eating like a champ...

So the only new pictures I have are of me chowing down. So far I've had oatmeal cereal, rice cereal, carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, and pears.
I like sweet potatoes the best! I also have 5 teeth which I haven't been too happy about.

Weekend Fun

This weekend my grandma and grandpa from Indiana came to visit. I had a lot of fun hanging out with both of them and I can't wait to see them in December for the holidays.
Here I am in one of my many golfing outfits. I'm ready for the links!

I got some new jammies and winter clothes from my nana this weekend. This is one of my favorites. Indy race cars!

5 months old!

Yesterday I turned 5 months old! Can you believe how the time flies? I am over 18 lbs now and making mom and dad nice and strong from carrying me around. Here are some recent pictures including some in my Colts gear. I am going to watch the game tonight and am hoping that they win! Thanks Aunt Sis and Kates for my Colts gear. :)
I am learning how to smile for the camera...
Yesterday I tried some carrots and really liked them. So far I've had rice cereal, peas and carrots.
More carrots please. :)
My best buddy Sam from Chicago gave me this cool toy that I love to chew on.
Happy baby!

I still love the Baby Bjorn. It's my favorite when I am done playing with my other toys. Being outside is the best.

It's Football Time!

I love to watch football with my daddy. My favorite teams are the Colts...
And the Vols. GO BIG ORANGE! Watching football is hard work...

I tend to fall asleep during the games because they last so long...

Scarecrow mania

This weekend we took part in the Auburn Community Festival and entered the annual Scarecrow contest. Our entry was "Dancing with the Steers" and we got 3rd place! We are going to Ruth's Chris tonight to celebrate!
It's hard getting a baby to smile at the camera when there is so much going on.... :)
Melinda also helped with Mrs. Hyatt's class entry "Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!". They won first prize in the school division.
Cooper loved being outside all day at the festival.
Check out the huge pumpkins. The winner was over 1100 pounds! Thank you Bam for all the great pictures. :)

4 months old!

4 months has really flown by hasn't it? We seem to think so. Cooper went to the Dr. yesterday and here are his stats. 16 lbs 14 ounces, 28 inches long. He is in or over the 90-95th percentile in both. What a big boy!
He is such a happy baby -except for yesterday when he got his shots.
He is getting really good at tummy time!
He roots for the Colts but they haven't been playing that well - thus the sad look on his face.
Still liking his big boy chair...

It was a little chilly in the house the other day (yes it does get cool in California once in awhile) so mama broke out the hat. He never gets to wear them so it was a good photo op.
